Battery Selection for DWM1001

Hello

I am experimenting with various microcontroller boards to acquire data from the DWM1001 dev and successful in doing so. However , when I tried deploying this solution for the longer periods , I couldn’t choose a correct battery. My requirements are as below.

  1. Battery life should be upto 3 months.
  2. My setup consumes a maximum of 100mA when in operation and stays active for 30 seconds every hour. Rest of the time it is in sleep mode.
  3. In sleep mode consumes up to 1.5mA

On paper, a 5000mAh battery is giving me a life of 81 days with this mode of operation.

However , I know in practice it will not be this easy. Battery chemistry starts coming into picture. Batteries have self discharge rating .

Keeping all these in mind , can anyone suggest me a good battery ? Operating voltage is 2.4 - 4.2 volts.

Do you have size, weight or technology limitation?
Should it be rechargeable or non-rechargeable?

non-rechargeable I can suggest Li-SOCl2 26500 er26500 3.6V 9000 mAh

If you prefer rechargeable, you can use a parallel battery arrangement, you can use a pair of tablet batteries (3600 mAh -5000 mAh)
