Hello,
my company is going to utilize UWB in an RTLS system. The asset has its own asset ID which needs to be known by the RTLS system. Well, I found in DW1000 user manual that the register 0x01 is supposed to be assigned a 64bits ID for the IEEE 802.15.4 compliance or frame filtering function.
My question is whether my company must regulate this Extended Unique Identifier if our system needs to be certificated and acquired bt the registration authority. Or if we do not plan to use any frame filtering function, nothing need to do, Our system and asset just keep our own device ID system.
