DW1000 total power use

Hi all,

I am confused by Table 4: DW1000 DC Characteristics.
How are the maximum power uses by the 3.3V and 1.8V supplies to be interpreted?
For example: does the total current use of all 3.3V supplies together equal 70 mA maximum in TX mode, or does every separate 3.3V supply draw 70 mA max?

This question since it causes quite a different power use: 6x 70e-3 x 3.3 + 2x 90e-3 x 1.8 = 1980 mW in contrast with 70e-3 x 3.3 + 90e-3 x 1.8 = 393 mW.

Hi Dries,

It is the sum of the 3.3V or 1.8V supplies respectively.
So the …=393mW calculation is correct.
